This specimen was lot 25163 in Heritage sale 3030 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "Solothurn. City gold Duplone 1797, AU58 PCGS, nicely toned with reflective surfaces and abundant mint luster, mild handling in the exposed fields." This type is listed for 1796-98 and is expensive. This denomination is also noted for Bern, Luzern and the Helvetian Republic.
