Sincona sale 47, lot 2932
This specimen was lot 2932 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 525 CHF (about US$630 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND, Schwyz, 2 Batzen 1810. Wertangabe 2 BATZ. Seltene Varianterare variety. Vorzüglich. (canton of Schwyz, two batzen of 1810, written "2 BATZ." Extremely fine.)"
This type is listed for 1810 only from the canton of Schwyz. After being temporarily unified under Napoleon's Helvetic Republic, the cantons went their separate ways after the Congress of Vienna and issued a torrent of low value coins. Not until 1850 would a unified confederation mint her own coins and terminate the local issues.

Reported Mintage: unknown.

Specification: billon, this specimen 2.56 g.

Catalog reference: D.T. 82, HMZ 2-808b, KM 57.
