This specimen was lot 24094 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Friedrich August III gold Proof 10 Mark 1910-E, Proof 64 Ultra Cameo NGC, a most handsome coin with mirror fields and a frosty cameo bust. Rare and desirable in this elite designation." This type was struck 1905-12 and is the most common ten mark of Saxony.

Recorded mintage: 75,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 3.98 g, .900 fine gold, .115 troy oz AGW.
