This specimen was lot 4442 in Sincona sale 4 (Zurich, October 2011) where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Sachsen, Herzogtum, ab 1547 Kurfürstentum, Albertiner Christian II., Johann Georg I. und August, 1601-1611. Taler 1604. Geharnischtes Hüftbild von Christian mit geschultertem Schwert nach rechts, zu den Seiten des Kopfes die Jahreszahl. Rv. Die geharnischten Brustbilder der beiden Brüder einander zugewandt, umher Wappenkranz und Umschrift. Sehr schön. (Duchy of Saxony, Christian II, John George I and August, co-rulers 1601-11, thaler of 1604. Obverse: armored half-length bust of Christian holding sword and helmet to right, head dividing date; reverse: armored busts of the brothers with circle of shields around. Very fine)."This type is listed for 1601-04 and is common enough to be affordable for the average collector.
