This specimen was lot 3754 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $153. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Saxe-Weimar. Taler, 1586. Friedrich Wilhelm I and Johann III, 1573-1602. Facing bust on both sides. Mounted. About Very Fine." This one year type is not rare but is less common than the later Dav-9774. This branch of the Saxon dukes fell extinct in 1605.
