This specimen was lot 24780 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $990. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1891-AT. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details Secure Holder. Lightly cleaned long ago, now nicely retoned. Strong underlying luster and good eye appeal." This date is from a type struck 1886-94. The type must have been subjected to extensive melting as all dates are rare. In 1886, the ruble was reduced to 20 grams after having been fixed at 20.73 grams since 1798.

Recorded mintage: 117,000.
