This specimen was lot 10674 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1883. PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder. Commemorative of the coronation of Alexander III. Toned with hints of multicolor." This is a one year type but enough were saved that it is not rare.

Recorded mintage: 279,000.
