This specimen was lot 4315 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $265.55. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1811-CNBOT. NGC EF-45. WINGS Approved. Gray toned surfaces." The SCWC records this product of the St. Petersburg mint (СПБ) for 1810-26 and is the first really common ruble.

Recorded mintage: 2,675,000.
