This specimen was lot 30568 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "Regensburg. Francis II Taler 1793-GCB, MS62 NGC. Completely natural surfaces are graced with a superb view of the city of Regensburg. Deeply toned along the edges; a few insignificant hairlines are seen in the fields." This one year type is scarce but not rare.
