This specimen was lot 2379 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Regensburg, City, Doppeltaler o. J. (1711/1740). Titel Karl VI. Vorzüglich, Kl. Kratzer und Randfehler. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated double thaler of Charles VI. Extremely fine, Minor scratches and edge fault.)"
This type is rare as stated. It is accompanied by a single thaler (Dav-2612). Regensburg passed to Bavaria in 1803.
