This specimen was lot 776 in Jean Elsen sale 115 (Brussels, December 2012) where it sold for €500 (about US$763 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RECKHEIM, Willem van Vlodorp (1553-1564), AR daalder, z.j. (1553-1556), Met titel van Keizer Karel. Droit: Versierd wapenschild van Vlodorp onder twee toernooihelmen die de legende onderbreken. Leg. eindigend op RECHEIME. Revers: Gekroonde rijksarend. Leg. eindigend op AVGVSTV. Barstje. Ex HSA 6923. bijna Zeer Fraai. (Reckheim, William of Vlodorp (1553-64), silver thaler without date (1553-56), in the name of emperor Charles. Obverse: quartered arms of Vlodorp under two helmets dividing the legend, with legend ending "RECHEIME." Reverse: crowned imperial eagle with legend ending "AUGUSTU". about Very fine.)"
