This specimen was lot 666 in Ponterio sale 182 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. Taler, 1816-A. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Toned." This type was issued 1809-16 at Berlin (shown here) and Aurich and is common in worn condition. This is a common date.
