This specimen was lot 328 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €10,000 (about US$13,478 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH Friedrich (III.) I. 1701-1713. Reichstaler 1703, CS, Berlin. Großer Kopf r. mit Lorbeerkranz, unten die Signatur C : F : L : (Christian Friedrich Lüders, Stempelschneider in Berlin 1702-1742)//Gekrönter Adler, den Kopf nach l. gewandt, mit Zepter und Reichsapfel in den Fängen, auf der Brust gekröntes Monogramm FR, zu den Seiten die geteilte Jahreszahl 1 - 7 - 0 - 3, unten neben den Schwanzfedern die Signatur C - S (Christoph Stricker, Münzmeister in Berlin 1701-1713). Mit Randschrift: SUUM : CUIQUE b. Von großer Seltenheit. Feine Tönung, winz. Justierspuren, fast vorzüglich Exemplar der Slg. Bernhard Terletzki. Erworben im November 1969 von Heinrich Winter, Düsseldorf. (kingdom of Prussia, Frederick I, 1701-13, thaler of 1703, Berlin mint. Large laureate head, engraver's initials CFL below; reverse: crowned eagle, head left, with sceptre and orb and crowned monogram "FR" on breast dividing the date. Extremely rare, fine toning, minimal adjustment, about extremely fine.)"
This one year type is very rare as are all Prussian thalers prior to the 1750's.
