Sincona sale 54, lot 230
This specimen was lot 230 in Sincona sale 54 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,309 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Pommern, Herzogtum, Christina von Schweden, 1637-1654. Dukat 1642, Stettin. Münzmeister Ulrich Butkau. 3.39 g. Fast sehr schön. Kleine Henkelspur. Leicht gewellt. (Germany, duchy of Pomerania, Christina of Sweden, 1637-54, ducat of 1642, Stettin mint. About very fine, Small mount mark, Slightly wavy flan.)"
This type was struck 1642, 1653. Another type, KM 198, where the shield touches rim at bottom, was also emitted in 1642..
