This specimen was lot 21467 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $4,440. The catalog description noted, "POLAND. 100 Zlotych, 1985-CHI. Valcambi Mint, Switzerland. NGC PROOF-67 ULTRA CAMEO. Reported mintage of only 5 pieces and the finest graded at NGC and PCGS. Arguably one of the best portraits ever done of Pope John Paul II. Light peripheral toning but limited hairlines. We offered the accompanying 200 Zlotych (Y-137) in our NYINC Auction (January 2016, lot 41351) which brought $3,360.
