Peru 1963 10 soles
This specimen was lot 23108 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $282. The catalog description noted, "PERU. 10 Soles, 1963. PCGS MS-67 Secure Holder. Mintage of only 3,372 pieces. From the Blue Moon Collection." This denomination, struck 1950-69, was theoretically a circulating coin but actually was a bullion piece like her sisters, the gold five, twenty, fifty and hundred soles.
