The first specimen was lot 7263 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $920. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Zecchino, 1772/III. Clement XIV (1769-74). CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE." This type is recorded for 1769-73 and is also known as a ducat.

Specification: 3.45 g, .998 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
