This type was minted 1769 only for Clement XIV (1769-74). The doppio giulio was twenty baiocchi, while the scudo was one hundred baiocchi. The SCWC notes this type as somewhat scarce. Two other doppie giuli are noted for 1769, a sede vacante issue (KM 1007) and a regular issue for Clement XIV (KM 1009).
