This specimen was lot 1317 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, April 2010). The catalog description[1] noted, "VATICAN-PAPAL STATES. Innocent XII, 1691-1700. Giulio, 1695, An. V. Crown and Keys over shield. Rv. Ornamental cartouche, ELEVAT/ PAVPEREM, He has Raised up the Poor. About Extremely Fine." This date is a one year type struck in 1695. Several other giulios (KM 585 and KM 586) were issued that year. The giulio was one-third of a testone or about a tenth of a piastra.
