The Bugs Bunny variety is the result of a die clash which makes Franklin appear as if he has buck teeth. These "teeth" are a clash mark from the eagle's wings. This variety appears on various dates in the Franklin series and the premium depends on the rarity of that date.

Known dates are as follows: 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1952-D, 1953, 1953-D, 1953-S, 1954, 1954-D, 1954-S, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, and 1963.
