This specimen was lot 1280 in Ponterio sale 173 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $1,175. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Nurnberg. Taler, 1694-GFN. NGC AU-53. Attractive multicolored toning." This is the more common of two types struck in 1694.
