This specimen was part of lot 26751 in Heritage sale 3022 (New York, January 2013), which sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mixed lot of Seven High Grade Coins, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Canada are represented. Coins grade XF-UNC. Careful examination will find some pleasant surprises here." Prior to confederation with Canada in 1867, the province of Nova Scotia issued half and one cent pieces during 1861-64.

Recorded mintage: 400,000.
