This type, listed for 1913-41, superseded a similar type (KM 132) struck 1902-07 with a different reverse. Postwar cents were reduced in weight and struck until 1980. This is a slightly better date.

Recorded mintage: 6,000,000.

Specification: 2.5 g, bronze, 19 mm diameter, reeded edge.
