This specimen was lot 39284 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Naples. Ducato, ND (ca. 1556-98). Philip II (1556-98). NGC VF-25. Very attractive example and without the usual flan problems common to the issue. Warm gray-brown tone, with most of the facial and hair detail still present. Nice. One small flan crack." This type was struck for Philip II of Spain, he of the Spanish Armada. The Spanish ruled Naples until the death of the last Hapsburg in 1700.
