This specimen was lot 11294 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $411. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Peso, 1904-CnMH. PCGS MS-64+ Secure Holder." The type was struck 1898-1905 and 1908-09; this date is common but 1904-CnRP is rare.

Recorded mintage: 1,554,000 (assayers MH and RP).

Specification: 27.07 g, .903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
