Shown is an 1886CH-M five centavos, of a type struck 1871-74, 1886-95. This issue from Chihuahua is a better date but is not rare. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Alamos, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Potosi. The year 1886 was the last year the Chihuahua mint used the "CH" mintmark; switching in that year to "CA."

Specification: 1.35 g, .903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.
