The regular issue ranged 1869-97 from Mexico City, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Culiacan, Guadalajara, Alamos, Hermosillo, Durango and even Oaxaca. Hermosillo issued this type 1874-93 and, while this date is common, it is seldom seen in nice condition. The second specimen was lot 8947 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, “MEXICO. Hermosillo. 10 Centavos, 1881-HoA. NGC MS-64."
