This specimen was lot 11330 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $1,292. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Culiacan. Centavo, 1875-Cn. PCGS MS-63 RB. Small cud at 11 o'clock. Luster still around devices, considerable mint red." This date turns up occasionally, like the 1876-CN, but rarely this nice. An 1875/4 overdate is recorded.

Specification: 8 g, copper, 25 mm diameter, reeded edge.
