This specimen was lot 11368 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Zacatecas. Centavo, 1874/3-Zs. NGC EF-45 BN. Toned." Zacatecas was generally a prolific mint but not for bronze centavos. The overdate merits a slight premium.

Recorded mintage: 685,000.

Specification: 8 g, copper, 25 mm diameter, reeded edge.
