This specimen was lot 72609 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 1/2 Escudo, 1857-CCE. NGC MS-62. Sharply struck with highly reflective surfaces." Long[2] notes this as a rare date that is occasionally available.
