This specimen was lot 2835 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Erste Republik, 1823-1864. 8 Escudos 1834, PJ-Guanajuato. Fast vorzüglich. (republic of Mexico, eight escudos of 1834, Guanajuato mint. About extremely fine.)"The Guanajuato mint struck eight escudos 1828-70 and is one of the abundant mints for that denomination; most dates are common.
