This specimen was lot 31295 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles & Johanna "Late Series" 2 Reales ND (1542-57) Mo-L AU50 NGC, Mexico City mint. Lightly circulated with original luster visible beneath a gray base of tone that holds delicate blue and purple iridescent hues. A small flan crack is seen near 6 o'clock on the pillar side, and the strike is slightly doubled in places, but the overall choice eye-appeal remains unaffected. Ex.
