This specimen was lot 23135 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 2 Reales, ND (1542-55)-L M, Mexico City Mint; Assayer L. Charles & Johanna. NGC VF-35. A well struck coin with good detail on central devices and most of peripheral legends are visible. Mint mark and assayer initials are fairly clear."

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.931 fine silver, this specimen 6.69 g.
