This specimen was lot 848 in Sincona sale 54 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 525 CHF (about US$625 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Republik, seit 1965. 250 Ringgit 1985. UNO. Dekade der Frau. Selten. Nur 1500 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. FDC. (republic of Malaysia, 250 ringgit of 1985, for the UN Decade for Women. Rare. Only 1500 pieces struck, Choice Proof.)"
This scarce NCLT honors the United Nations Decade for Women.
