Sincona sale 9, lot 3798
This specimen was lot 3798 in Sincona sale 9 (Zurich, October 2012), where it sold for 1,750 CHF (about US$2,213 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Lübeck, Stadt Dukat 1730. 2. Jahrhundertfeier der Übergabe der Augsburger Konfession. Gekrönter Doppeladler mit Wappen auf der Brust über Bürgermeisterwappen. Rv. Religio mit Kreuz und Buch von vorn zwischen Schrift. Kl. Kr. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Lubeck, ducat of 1730, on the bicentennial of the Augsburg Confession. Obverse: crowned double-headed eagle with shiled on breast, city arms below; reverse: saint with cross and book between two lines of script. Some rim bumps, choice very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type is listed for 1730 only but was saved enough that it is more available than the regular issue.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
