This specimen was lot 1775 in Sincona sale 11 (Zurich, May 2013), where it sold for 4,750 CHF (about US$5,880 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN Livorno Cosimo III. di Medici, 1670-1723. Pezza della Rosa 1701. Fast FDC. (Livorno, Cosimo III of Medici, 1670-1723, tollero of 1701, so-called 'piece of the roses,' choice uncirculated.)"
This type is noted for 1701-18 and is rather expensive.
