Sincona sale 9, lot 3793
This specimen was lot 3793 in Sincona sale 9 (Zurich, October 2012), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,517 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Kempten, Stadt Dukat 1717. Auf die 200-Jahrfeier der Reformation. Kleine Druckstellen. Sehr schön-fast vorzüglich. Die Münze ist nicht befeilt oder beschnitten, hat aber nur das Gewicht eines Goldguldens. (city of Kempten, ducat of 1717, on the bicentennial of the Reformation. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
The SCWC lists this as a pattern for the silver groschen (KM 75), a coin about the same size.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.

Specification: 3.5 g, .986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW, this specimen 3,31 g.
