This specimen was lot 3100 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $1,938.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "JAMAICA. 250 Dollars, 1978. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. 25th anniversary of Elizabeth II's coronation commemorative. Liquid mirror fields with devices showing no breaks or flecks in the frosting. One small smudge just behind head and under close magnified scrutiny some tiny copper spots can be found."

Recorded mintage: 3,005.

Specification: 43.22 g, .900 fine gold, 1.242 troy oz AGW.
