The specimen shown is from a type struck in Rome for Italy 1968-2000. It replaced a similar type of 1957-59. All dates are common tho the mintages dwindled after the early 1990's.

Recorded mintage: 15,000,000.

Specification: 3.6 g, aluminum bronze, 21.25 mm diameter.
