Italy 1929 10 centesimi rev DSLR.jpg

This type was struck for the kingdom of Italy 1919-37. The 1919 is the only scarce date. The type replaced the larger 10 g issue which matched the French ten centimes. Vittorio Emanuele III succeeded his father Umberto upon the latter's assassination in 1900, but by 1930 he was the helpless tool of the Fascists.

Recorded mintage: 15,593,000.

Specification: 5.4 g, bronze, 22.5 mm diameter, plain edge.

Catalog reference: KM 60, Gig-238.
