This specimen was lot 71120 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. 2 Lire, 1915-R. NGC MS-64. Nicely struck with frosty luster." This type of 1914-17 rounded out the series of silver two lire.

Recorded mintage: 7,948,000.

Specification: 10 g, .835 fine silver, 27 mm diameter.
