This specimen was lot 6738 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 1/2 Taler, 1715-KB. Kremnitz Mint. Charles III (1711-40). NGC Unc Details--Surface Hairlines. Crisply struck giving bold full detail throughout the devices. The noted hairlines are quite light and easily overlooked as they appear to be confined only to the right field of the obverse. Otherwise wholly uncirculated with nearly full original luster. Lightly toning particularly noticeable on the reverse. From the Mezo-Toth Kalman Collection." This type was struck 1712-18. The mintage is unknown but it is priced very reasonable in the SCWC.
