This specimen was lot 22101 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $52,875. The catalog description[2] noted, "Immaculate Leopold I gold 5 Ducats 1703-NB, Laureate and draped bust right/Crowned double-headed eagle, holding scepter and sword, with date above, MS63 NGC. Full, brilliant luster, with sharply defined details and only a few light marks. Very rare. An exceptional example of this early Hungarian gold issue struck from Taler dies." Four and ten ducat pieces were also issued on this occasion.
