Hamburg 1879-J 20 mark
"20 Mark 1879. Hamburg Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Hamburg, twenty mark of 1879, extremely fine.)"This type was struck 1875-84 and 1887-89. Several German states issued gold five mark in 1877 but the denomination was abandoned in favor of a silver five mark, gold being restricted to ten and twenty mark pieces. This date is rare.
