This specimen was lot 3766 in Sincona sale 9 (Zurich, October 2012), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$2,024 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Hamburg, Stadt Dukat 1750. Titel Franz I. Gutes vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Hamburg, ducat of 1750, in the name of Francis I. good extremely fine.)"
This type is listed for 1746-53 but is rare.

Recorded mintage: 5,166.

Specification: 3.5 g, .986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW, this specimen 3.47 g.
