This specimen was lot 29496 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hamburg. Free City gold Ducat 1692-IR MS64 NGC. Struck in the name of Leopold with meticulously sharp design features, subtle tone, and full mint luster. A rare specimen in both grade and type." This type is listed for 1689, 1692, 1695 and 1698 with all dates rare.
