This specimen was lot 302 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €4,400 (about US$5,684 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hamburg, STADT Reichstaler 1687, mit Titel Leopolds I. Münzmeister Hermann Lüders. Von großer Seltenheit. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Hamburg, thaler of 1687, in the name of Leopold I, mintmaster Hermann Lüders. Extremely rare, choice extremely fine.)"
