Kunker sale 263, lot 203
This specimen was lot 203 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabruck, June 2015), where it sold for €440 (about US$569 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hamburg, STADT Reichstaler (32 Schilling) 1605, mit Titel Rudolfs II. Münzmeister Claus Flegel. RR Hübsche Patina, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Hamburg, thaler of 1605, in the name of Rudolf II, mintmaster Claus Flegel. Rare, nice patina, very fine.)"
The SCWC prices this type of 1603-08 equal to Dav-5358 but more than Dav-5361. Curiously, the issue of 1608 is listed very cheaply.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-5357, Gaed. 353. KM 14.
