This specimen was lot 20451 in Ponterio sale 176 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Elizabeth II, 1952-Present. Sovereign, 1998. NGC PF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Mature head right by Broadley. Rv. Pistrucci’s St. George and the Dragon. Just about perfect! Ex: Royal Mint, 1998." This type starting 1998 features the fourth bust to be used on the sovereigns of Elizabeth II. These were sold to investors and collectors and not issued for circulation.

Recorded mintage: 10,000 proofs.
