This specimen was lot 506 in Sincona sale 46 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,160 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Grossbritannien, Elizabeth II. 1952-. 5 Pounds 1996, London. 70. Geburtstag von Königin Elizabeth II. 39.94 g. Seaby 4303. Nur 2750 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. FDC. ln Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Great Britain, Elizabeth II, 1952-, five pounds of 1996, London mint. 70th birthday of the queen. Only 2750 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

Specification: KM 974: copper-nickel, 38.61 mm diameter; KM 974a: 28.8 g, .925 fine silver; KM 974b: 39.94 g, .917 fine gold.
